Tell me about Nintendogs for the DS...

Are all the versions the same regardless of whether they're, say, dalmatian or chihuahua? Apart from the type of dog of course.

I think they are the same, same rules and games etc. dd had a labrador one but it has other breeds on it too, and the more you play it the more dogs you get to choose from.

Yes they are. With each type you get the choice of I think 5 other dog breeds and if your ds (child not games console) has a friend with nintendogs they can 'swap' dogs (don't ask me how that works, am a technophobe but my ds (child not games console) is currently looking after his friend's puppy!

Fabulous. Will have to work out which kind of dog DS2 would prefer. He just wrote nintendogs on his list. Clearly father christmas would know which one
