Ooh fab idea! Maybe try kitchenware?

Sazisi · 14/11/2008 20:37

that's very cool, but soooo expensive

haven't seen anthing like it..all I can think of is a tool box or fishing box or making something with a wine case or similar wouldn't be the same though

bodiddly · 14/11/2008 22:19

i did think of one of those art/tool boxes but I could see ds (3.8) pinching his fingers in the mechanism! He is sooooo into drawing/colouring and he is forever pulling pens, pencils, scissors etc out of boxes and leaving them around .. I thought this was the perfect solution (except for the price!)

Hello!!!!!!!!!!!

have lakeland got anything, will go look!

CarGirl · 14/11/2008 22:23

nothing in lakelan

ChirpyGirl · 14/11/2008 22:39

here's one and a remote control one

Bit smaller than orginal but would still work I think.
Am v tempted myself!

bodiddly · 15/11/2008 13:47

thanks ... they both look a little small in comparison to the original. I want to be able to put all the crayons, pens, scissors, glue etc in one place so he can readily access them.

Ooh, isn't that fab?! IMO it's one of those perfect things. My dd is nowhere near the age to need one but I almost want to get one in advance. Could you buy it for your DS for Christmas?

thanks yorkiegirl - guess my next quest is to see if I can find some amazing GLTC discount code to make the original one more feasible!

No joy but it looks lovely!

Could you make one with a cheapy rotating cheesboard and a circular caddy from somewhere else?

bodiddly · 15/11/2008 20:57

lol at the idea of using a rotating cheeseboard!

callmeovercautious · 15/11/2008 21:32

Why? I am offended now - I thought you were a crafty type who could "make do and mend"

morningpaper · 15/11/2008 21:34

I use a nice tool chest from B&Q, made for tools but fits everything in nicely

morningpaper · 15/11/2008 21:36

also have a couple of "baby box" things from Mothercase

I don't like having stuff 'on the side'

morningpaper · 15/11/2008 21:37

this have one for paitns and one for collage stuff

callmeovercautious · 15/11/2008 21:43

Ohh I have one of those under the cot MP! I will be digging it out tomorrow and clearing loads of cr*p.
