Where can I buy a goalpost?
Fionn · 08/03/2003 12:08
I'm looking for a small goalpost for the garden. Our old one is broken. We've got a decent net but need a free-standing frame. Argos only do one with groundpegs. I've heard of Teepee(sp?) outdoor equipment. Are they mail order only? Don't want to spend much more than £20 if possible. Any ideas gratefully received!

Not sure if this is really what you're looking for, but Early Learning Centre do an inflatable goalpost with net for £10. Sorry if this is too babyish!

Try Littlewoods index - www.littlewoods-index.com/index/rf.inf.RFServlet?pathinfo=index/browse/ProductPage.html&pca=62029210&rootcat_id=61837719&category_id=61837687&version_id=355
I bought the medium size one for my soccor-mad nephew (six) and he loves it and it was really good value as well.

Thanks for your suggestions - the Index one looks promising. The ELC one is a bit too young.

'Teepee' activity toys is actually TP (tube plastics) - its based in my town! Really good selection of outdoor toys and well priced too. Probably got a website or their number is 01299 827728.

Hi, sassy. I used to live in Stourport!
Fionn,TP toys also sell their products through retailers. Might be worth asking them where you nearest stockist is.
In the meantime, we made a goalpost last year out of three bean canes and some string!!

Hi Xhausted, did you like it here? I veer between finding it small and friendly or finding too dull for words!
