Cheapest place to get a Mountain Buggy?

I had one which was great - and then I sold it thinking my Easylife Sport was a better bet if I had to choose one of them.
However we have just moved up a hill, baby is now toddler and the Easylife is getting really heavy to push! I am gutted that I sold my mB.

So I have flogged the bugaboo and would like to get an MB again, I actually prefer the older ones, with the fixed handle and cottony canvas fabric, but ebay hasn't got an awful lot and I need it soon.

Has anyone seen any good offers please? Or is it worth waiting for January sales - I don't know if they tend to reduce the MB in many places.

Thanks for any ideas!

Is £382 cheap for a 2009 version?

Baroque and College Stripe reduced here

Think £382 ok for 2009 model though.

Have you tried the newer one its alot heavier than the older style! I have had both would def go for the older one if you are short enough for the handle

Ah I don't know how I missed this yesterday! Thankyou, hmm not sure about the patterns, but worth bearing in mind - it's a good price isn't it?

382 is at mothercare with 10% off.

I haven't tried the new one - thankyou for the tip, I had no idea it was heavier! Blimey.

I might keep looking for the old one in that case. they seem pretty cheap on ebay when they come up.

The one i got before was £20 buy it now, really almost unused except the tyres were shot so I got new tyres and it was gorgeous. I was so stupid to sell it

£365 incl raincover & shade-a-babe (which you could sell on) from Nappyline

amazonianwoman · 14/11/2008 14:02

Oh, not as good as horsemadgal's bargain

Fllightthebluetouchpaper · 14/11/2008 14:16

Ooh thanks Amazonianwoman!

Do you know what. I found that site this morning, too - and I rang them and they said that's for pick up only. The woman said they could post for about £15 but didn't think they had any in. So she took my number to check.

Man rings me back, yes they can get them, any colour, but the best price they can do is £450? inc delivery...

he wwas very keen to take payment but would have to order from MBUK which is currently under water (offices, not stock!) so I am a bit about going for it.

I've found a good deal on the Elite which includes lambskin liner, etc and bumper bar free, it's going to be about 500 quid though - but I've only just realised the elite model has the nice canvas fabric, and the usual urban has the manmade stuff which isn't as strong.

So if anyone sees a good offer on the Elite please shout!!
Thankyou
