Macdog · 11/11/2008 14:51

Gap never failed my dd

FiveGoMadInDorset · 11/11/2008 14:51

Gap are the favourite here as well.

CuppaTeaJanice · 11/11/2008 14:51

George
Gap - have to roll over the tops a lot though.

fairimum · 11/11/2008 14:52

gap and H&m (only had the ones that look like they have little blck shoes on!)

rempy · 11/11/2008 14:53

Gap, and not on the list, Mini Mode.

LostGirl · 11/11/2008 16:14

Yes to GAP. But also not on the list: Next (but only the ones which have ribbing all the way down to the foot and fold over).

fruitful · 11/11/2008 16:16

Gap. Until they work out how to pull them off, that is. After that you need little leather shoes over the top and it doesn't matter what sort of socks you have!

cheesesarnie · 11/11/2008 16:17

tights!

chloemegjess · 11/11/2008 16:21

Yes gap are the only ones we have liked,

ohdearwhatamess · 11/11/2008 16:33

Only Gap stay on

(have had a big cull of non staying on socks today from ds2's wardrobe)

Can also confirm that John Lewis ons do not stay on

EyeballsintheSky · 11/11/2008 16:34

Do you mean they don't fall off or they can't be pulled off? DD would pull her foot off if possible so I defy any socks to stay on her feet. She now lives in tights.

chloemegjess · 12/11/2008 11:46

I think everybody means they can FALL off rather than be PULLED. I would be very impressed if I found socks that couldn't be pulled off at all.

MrsAlwaysRight · 12/11/2008 16:16

Another Gap fan here!

hedgehog1979 · 12/11/2008 16:21

i like ~(unethical)~ primark

opalmum · 13/11/2008 00:34

We like totsocks best, followed by gap.

bella29 · 13/11/2008 12:06

Gap (wish I could be original, though!)

WhereTheWildThingsWere · 13/11/2008 12:11

Gap but only the old style ribbed, the new ones are crap.

Another for mini mode.

And next too.

Never heard of Trumpette sounds rude, all others on list crap imo.

I only use tights on boys and girls (under trousers) keeps little legs much warmer.

nowwearefour · 13/11/2008 12:12

yes old style gap and next

nappyaddict · 13/11/2008 12:14

WTWTA - haha are you a serial sock tryer like me too!

Haven't tried Next, Primark or Tots socks though yet.

Another Gap vote

PortAndLemon · 14/11/2008 14:09

Gap old style. Although DD is an obsessive sock-puller too so with her I go with tights.

nicolamumof3 · 14/11/2008 15:24

next with the fold over tops fab imo.
