What is it like for non-gamers? Can you really play as a family, adults and children together? Will 8y, 5y adn 2y get anything out of it? Are there games other than sport and violence?

Tell me about it...

Bumping because I'd like to know the answer too?

Fab, yes,yes,yes.
Do a search, masses of threads on the best games etc.
But get one now in case prices start going uplike they did last year.

I'm not big on console games, but compromised on a Wii. My boys are 6 and 5 and love it. Golf, baseball, they actually run on the spot when racing (I've not told them they only have to move their arms ). For something different we have Cooking Mama which they all seem to enjoy. We have Wii fit and we all play on that too.

They don't ask for it everyday, but when they do its hard to get them off it. A kitchen timer is useful.

And we have two remotes, so they can play together.

www.wii-consoles.co.uk show you stock, and there are some fairly good deals around at the moment.
