What is the best kiddy raincoat?!

I am after a raincoat for DS1 who's 3.5 years. I want one that's quite long (about knee length so he doesn't also need waterproof trousers), allows room to move so he can wear a jumper underneath and ride his scooter to school, run and jump etc, is not that stiff PVC material and a bit softer and more flexible!

Does such a thing exist?! Ideally a peaked hood would be good too to keep rain out of his face!

Any recommendations gladly received. I might need to start my own rainwear business otherwise....

We have got Kidorable ones they are really good for my two (DS 4; DD 2). They have elastic on the hood, rain doesn't go in the face, and they can weara jumper under. They are cotton/canvas type material underneath and shiny on top but imo not stiff PVC. They have the wellies to match. Pricey, but grandma paid! Have seen them on ebay though if price is an issue!

Berghaus goretex type start at 3-4 yrs but at £70 a pop, you'd have to really want it
