The dummy fairy is coming to take her dummies away as soon as I can find something suitable, and she's very excited, but still VERY attached to her nightime dummies, so it's got to be a good enough toy to take her mind off the loss iykwim.

HELP!!!

Teenage Ninja Mutant Turtles?
Saw something in a charity shop that would have been good. Perhaps ebay does them? Would she like this though, action hero type things? Know you can get cuddly toy versions too and ones with buttons that say things as my nephew used to have one... Good luck!

you need a wind up bath one - can't search atm but the paocket-money bit of a toyshop is often good

HappyMummyOfOne · 10/11/2008 11:11

ELC used to do a great wind up one for the bath, kept DS amused for hours.

My 4 year old DD got this as a present and loves it. She finds it very soothing at night. It lives at the foot of her bed and gets switched on after her story.

We have a wind up bath one, I think it came from Mothercare.

Alternatively, you might be able to find something like a backpack or hot water bottle cover.

If you sponsor a turtle you get an adorable cuddly one. Also a nice string bag.

Littlefish · 10/11/2008 16:29

Ooooooooh. What about this one!

Littlefish · 10/11/2008 16:30

No, this one is much nicer

Sorry, knopw this is a bit late in the day, but a huge thanks for all your suggestions. I have ordered the twilight sleep turtle MaryMungo recommended, hopefully it will do the trick!
Thanks again all

oh good, I was about to recommend it. Did you realise the stars are real constellations? I didn't but bought one for my neice and my brother tells me it's cool, fun AND educational!

MinkyBorage · 13/11/2008 13:41

Well, the turtle arrived this morning, was feeling very excited about putting all the dummies in to a bag for the dummy fairy to take away, until dd told me she wanted a blue cat instead
