My DD is 2 just before christmas and i'd like to buy her a wooden dolls house. Does anyone know of any good deals/nice houses available?

there was a good deal on one on woolworths.com

we bought a fab one in Woolies last year - £40 for house + all contents - not painted at all, but perfectly standard otherwise.
Not worth buying a lovely £100 when they are that age, imho.

ASda have one for £35, its very basic though.

Toys R us have one thats £50. a little better.

GLTC have a fab one that works out £99 with our discount.

DD has teh ELC one which is £80 but you have to buy all teh furniture seperatly and it works out incredibly expensive.

The Adsa one looks great but there out of stock . Might wait to see if they come back into stock. Also need to furnish it but could ask rellies for that.
The woolies one has red on. Need pink after having two boys .
Thanks for your help, any other ideas?

We got an Early Learning Centre one (luckily it was on sale at the time).

I have just bought the Toys R Us one, I had some vouchers so only ended up paying 35 quid for it. It includes all the furniture which is really chunky and solid, and it is four stooreys so plenty of play value. I think itis v plain as unpainted, so I am going to paint and paper it myself. I actuall built it up this eve and am going to start decorating it this week.

Gosh the toys r us one is packed full of things!!!
Is it as good as it looks in the pictures?
I don't mind getting creative with the paint for £50!!!

We have a PLAN toys one complete with family and furniture that my dc have outgrown (hardly been used, really, my girls aren't very dolly, as it were).

I was going to put it on ebay in the next couple of weeks, but if you're in London or the SE and you're interested, do CAT me.

oh what shame. I'm in the midlands.

Would be very interested in your Plan toys dolls house if you have not sold it on ebay already?

Marne · 11/11/2008 15:09

this looks good and you get furniture with it, we made the mistake of buying one without furniture last year, ended up costing a fortune for furniture and dolls.

frogs · 11/11/2008 16:10

Jo -- sure, CAT me if you're interested. I haven't got round to putting it on ebay yet!
