Hi,
We're having our first baby and I've started looking at what buggys/car seats would be best for us.
At the moment the best long term value option appears to be to buy a combination car seat, that will do from birth backwards and then later as forward facing, and to buy a buggy suitable from birth such as the Maclaren Techno, as everyone seems to end up buying one of these anyway.
Is this a reasonable plan? I know that it won't be the most convienient system but don't really want to buy a travel system only to buy a maclaren style buggy 10-12 months later.
If it makes any difference to your advice, have a ford focus, rarely use public transport and have v small storage space in house eg. no real hallway etc.
What do you think?
