What do you put your dc children aged 3 to sleep in when travelling at night?

Obviously pyjamas - but what else? We used to have a fleece all-in-one that I'd been given which was really cosy & warm but unfortunately they only go up to an age 2. So I'm a bit stuck.....the fleecey all-in-ones that Mothercare have don't seem to be v thick - so I'm not sure if I'm being a precious mum or whether there is something out there that I haven't found....
Hoping someone can help...

The fleecy sleepsuits in Woolies/Dunnes seem to be ok. You don't want them to overheat in the car. Or the Polartec fleece from Jojo Maman Bebe. Or a travel grobag?

The polartec fleece from Jojo is lovely - and that's what she had when she was younger - but it doesn't come in an all-in-one for age 3-4....will check out Woolies.

If you go for fleecy PJs - do you just put on some really warm socks??

Fleece top over pyjamas and long socks

Shivs1974 · 06/11/2008 22:22

That would be perfect - but alas, alack they don't have it in her size. Will keep looking though on other sites - thank you v much.

It does - thank you so much for your help. Was in Sainsburys last night and managed to pick up an fleece all-in-one (with feet!) for £6.75 as they had 25% off - bargain. Will keep a record off that vertbaudet code as I'm sure it'll come in handy.
