Would you buy it for a christmas present?

Looks like the toys are suitable for 3+ years ...

We bought our DD a pink one from the ELC (I don't think she was the magical 3 yrs old at the time ) but it is a favourite toy...

We bought ds one of these a while back - he's only 18 months but loves it - he draws lots of sqiggley lines snakes

lizziemun · 06/11/2008 16:47

DD2 is 13mths and loves playing with her sisters, she also likes her Aquadraw.

LIZS · 06/11/2008 16:52

definitely. We had a version with stencils (letters, numbers , pictures, shapes etc) which were great

mrsmaidamess · 06/11/2008 17:03

yes, Megasketchers are great. Much better than Aquadraw.

mamadiva · 07/11/2008 09:59

Megasjetch, magnadoodle has been our most used toy from about 2yo.
Make sure the pen is securely fastened and remove any magnets until after 3yo. Aquadraw bombed.

Our 4 yo now practices her writing on it, so it had longevity.

zazen · 07/11/2008 10:03

sorry megasketch

purpleduck · 07/11/2008 10:18

my kids are 6 and 9 and they refuse to get rid of theirs
its a good toy

Lizzylou · 07/11/2008 10:23

My DS1 got the ELC super scribbler when he was 2yrs, it has been the most played with toy we have. DS2 loves it and DS1 (now 4.8yrs) still practices his writing on it.
Well worth it.
Also have Aquadraw, which is a hit as well.

Pinkjenny · 07/11/2008 10:28

Have just bought the Super Scribbler. Anything that prevents more crayon on the wall is worth it in my book!

ChopsTheDuck · 07/11/2008 10:30

don't count on it! Ours have thomas ones, they love them. Agree that they have a lot more play value than aquadraw. I still spent this morning cleaning crayon off the tv though!
