DH is on his way to currys now to buy one. Can any one recommend a really good one?
I need one with attachments for upholstery.
Or alternatively, can you recommend a web site that will compare and recommend the best buy?
Thanks x

The best are Dysons or Sebos.

I love my dyson, but I've been bought a new sebo (which is what the professionals use!)

It's for sale (brand new!) if you want it!

mm we bought the vax one which is black and was about £170 i think but it is brilliant. I use it at least once a month for carpets etc as we have a toddler and a dog. IT can be used as a dry vacuum aswell but we have a dyson for that.
Has all attachments to do floors/wood floors/ curtians and couches

Home carpet cleaning machines don't work....

you need to just have them done professionally. They can sell you really good liquids to top it up if you make any marks.

Thanks, ive just text him to tell him your recomendations.
I have a toddler who has had a tummy bug for a week and has vomited many times over the carpet! (nice) its been down for 2 years now and is looking grubby so i want to give it really good "do" and try to get another 12 months out of it.
