dd1's bedroom is freezing even with the central heating on full blast her room just does not heat up at all.

I'm looking at getting an oil filled radiator to put in her room and wondered if anyone had any reccomendations. Also do they eat up loads of electricity?

Have you bled the radiator ? Bought a fleecy undersheet ?

Think the electric radiators cost a fortune to run. Read something this week about if you leave central heating on all night it costs 50-70p, to run an all night electric blanket costs 2p.

Haven't bled the radiator as it heats up fully and is burning to touch but it just doesn't heat the room up at all. She has extra blankets on her bed and is warm enough in her bed but the room is just so cold. The windows stream with condensation every morning as well, so I was hoping that if I got an electric heater it might help to heat the air in the room up and cut down on the condensation.

I don't think warming the air up will stop the condensation - its the moist air hitting the cold window that causes it.

oh should have looked that up first, lol ok if that's not going to solve the condensation problem then it might not be worth getting an extra radiator.
