I ordered the petit star dot pram for ds dot and its been delivered today and apart from scratches on the frame its not what I thought it would be...
The handle height is to high which I didn't think it would be..says 101cm YET my dazzle which was also to high was 108cm...

Im in the process of sending it back and have also sold ds's other prams thus pramless so I need something quickly.

Im tired of pram looking so wondered if you lot can help .

Im after something funky, modern looking. 4 wheels, colours for a boy but colourful..its also for ds who is 20 months old so wanting something thats sturdy and not possibly a travel system iykiwm...
something along the line of the dot iykiwm BUT sturdy.

I loved my dazzle apart from handle height...wanting to spend around £200....

HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!! tia x

if u don't mind used i have got a silver cross pop in wasabi £60 posted on ebay here

Catilla · 03/11/2008 15:48

Dazzle looks so similar to a Maclaren... any reason you don't want one of these? They come in funky colours now, and are well proven to be durable...

nicolamumof3 · 03/11/2008 15:54

pop handles are high tho. i would get a maclaren im so in love with my lulu guinness one tho i've yet had chance to use it!!!

misdee · 03/11/2008 15:56

are you after a stroller? cos you cant beat a maclaren IMO.

what about a jane nomad? large seat, large fold, but easy to steer even with a toddler in situ.

geraldinetheluckygoat · 03/11/2008 15:56

my mindee has a City Mini from argos, it is three wheels but sturdy and lovely to push, fold and store! quite cosy looking too and very funky!

shhhh · 03/11/2008 20:07

I would like more of a pram iykiwm...I just feel strollers look basic and I want something ds will enjoy and feel comfy in.

Im after new babyjj, and the pop is to high...same as the dazzle...
jane normad..off to look now.Hmm maclaren, everyone rates them BUT I think they look uncomfy,I guess I may be wrong as it seems most of mner's rate them.....May take a look.

I like the m&p luna, babe confort loola and the m&p zike herbie although gutted as only sold with carry cot etc.
Anyone any experience of the above.?

xx

Micralite fastfold? I am very happy with mine.

It is a stroller but looks very different

lisad123 · 03/11/2008 20:13

i would highly recommend a herbie, solovely and big. Easy to use and pretty too

naomi83 · 03/11/2008 20:48

or micralite fast fold or baby jogger city mini, both push beautifully (like prams, not buggies) but weigh and fold like buggies if you see what i mean

shhhh · 03/11/2008 20:50

want something a bit more "fatter" loking iykiwm...
but the herbie ziko comes with the carrycot doesn't it..? The one I saw on m&p I love but is £500+ as has bag etc...

my friend is selling a luvly ziko herbie but i think it is slightly used i know the frame is refurbished

nicolamumof3 · 03/11/2008 20:55

i LOVED my luna i think they are a good price, lovely to push, nice big seat, don't bother with the liner as mine never stayed in place and drove me nuts!!

EachPeachPearMum · 03/11/2008 21:06

lisad is the herbie quite manoeuverable? It seems really big to me. Does it fold up easily? (car usage rather than bus)

shhhh · 03/11/2008 21:25

do like the herbie babyjj but dh is insistant on a new one ....

Think I like the luna as well nicola....taken me a bit to like it I guess..thnk its the front wheels im umming and ahhing over...

anymore suggestions..?

its a two part fold if rear facing. Not huge folded, but not stroller either. Loving to push, not as nice as a bugaboo though

EachPeachPearMum · 04/11/2008 10:45

Thanks!
