Can I get my rucksack stitched?

I have a really great rucksack - camping sort of size not an everyday one. One of the backstraps has ripped away from the main body along a seam. Do you think I could get it stitched and where is the best place to take it?

I don't want to throw it away if I can help it.

I would try a dry cleaners that has a repair facility.

ok - wasn't sure if a shoe repairer would be better.

I had to get my rucksack stitched when I was in Oz, I took it to a shoe repairer place (who did a very good job of it).

Thanks. Hve taken it to the shoe repair place and they say they can do it.
