Just having a look at buying my son a car garage for his b'day (will be 3) Fell into the trap of getting a cheapo one which is now practically in plastic pieces! Looking at the Le Toy Van Range - anyone own it, recommend it? Or is there a hidden gem of the mock parking variety I hae missed?

Do you mean this one? Ds1 had it last Christmas and it has been very poular indeed. He's played with it most days since then.

One of the ramps recently broke off when ds1 fell onto it with a big thump. Seems quite sturdy otherwise.

Top tip - it takes ages to build (and requires a cross head screwdriver) so if you get it for a birthday allow lots of time to make it beforehand! (I didn't ).

Yes - that's the one. Do normal matchbox metal cars travel ok on it too? Really love the look of it - how old is your Ds? My boy will be 3 in a few weeks time. Thanks for the top tip re. assembly ty

Yes, matchbox cars fit perfectly (better than the slightly bigger wooden ones that come with it, in fact).

Ds1 was 20 months when he got it (now 2.6), but I can imagine him playing with it for many years to come.
