Does anyone know if this exists?

We've got quite large granite hearths in front of the fireplaces in our house. How would I protect a toddler from accidents? I am due with my 2nd baby very soon and keep having nightmares about him/her falling and cracking their skull

Does a large hearth guard type thing exist?

we have this one from mothercare I think they do an extendable one aswell

Bicycle helmet?
Offcut of carpet and gaffer tape?
Traditional big fireguard that goes all around the hearth?

In our experience, the safety protection feature is more likely to cause an accident. Keep some of those instant ice pack to hand and don't worry.
