Home allergy tests?

Just wondering if anyone has done a home allergy test? I was thinking about doing a imutest which covers the whole spectrum

According to my gp they are a waste of time and a con. He did give me rather e lengthy explanation as to why but cant recall it right now.

Oh right, i've read up on this particular one and it seems quite good, i'm not sure whether my gp's have an allergy clinic
