So, one year on, are you glad you bought a Wii?

We've had our 2 years, and yes, we all love it. DD is going to actually be able to play it soon

EachPeachPearMum · 31/10/2008 21:47

Should have said- unlike xbox/ps3 its actually very sociable- our friends come round and we have bowling comps, still- after 2 years.
Plus there are loads of new socially games- samba di amigo, etc

I got mine last month and its still used daily my me, DH and DC
I highly recommend them, such fun and good exercise too if you play the games properly.

We got one last Christmas and it's still played with at least 3 or 4 times a week and always when we have friends round! Wii Fit, Wii Sport; Sonic and Maria at the Olympics and MarioKart have been the biggest successes games-wise. We haven't got any other consoles apart from an aged PS1 so can't really compare it with other things but we like the sociable aspects of the Wii; we play it as a family, or the girls play together and when people come round it's great. We do like EachPeach says and have bowling or ski-jumping tournaments.

We've had ours 2 1/2 years, and still use it all the time.

Was worth every penny for us.

DS's 8 and 4.

We've had ours for about 6 months, and it is loved by 10 and 8 yr old ds, and dh.

It's much more fun and sociable than the playstation which has been relegated to the attic.

Boys got a present of Fifa 09 last week and say it is the best game ever, ever, ever! They also love Mariokart.
