um, yes. The energy has to come from somewhere.

Ours does this too - drives me nuts. We'll never buy another SMEG item after dishwasher, cooker and cooker hood all broke in the first year... thankfully while under guarantee.

ours does too but I can sometimes stop it by switching to eg grill and back again...
seems to fool it into stopping.

ours does this . When we had repair man out for bracket thing on door he said they all did it and it was normal .

I actually switch mine off at the mains it infuriates me sooooo much.

Mine has broken down 3 times in 5 years - not sure if I would get another
