we have one of these and a number of games, the dance mat, the art studio - all bought by DH's step-dad, DD1 has never got on with it never really played with it and it ahs sat gathering dust. DD2 is now coming up 3.5 and what i'm wondering is it worth dusting off for her to play with or do i just get rid, since it will sell ok.

Why don't you see if dd2 will play with it now? My just-3 yo loves his.

i guess the main problem is that its in the living room and they don't play in here and there is no telly where they do play.

think i might get it out during half term and see.

ds never enjoyed the vsmile (got for Xmas when 3yrs old) - we had about 7 games for it from various people for Xmas and birthdays but was never played with.

Got the vsmile pocket last Xmas (then 4yrs old) which uses the same game cartidges and it was a hit, he could play with whereever he wanted, especially on longer car journeys. VSmile console still gathering dust under TV.

I was thinking of getting one of these for dd (4.5) for Xmas as i thought the Wii was still a bit pricey? Should I bother? Is it too babyish?

We have the vsmile and a vsmile pocket. DD1 loves her pocket one much more than the console. But DD2 uses the console and art studio. They are 5 and 4 btw.
