Does anyone have the ELC red retro kitchen?

It is now reduced to £85 - is it worth it? I want to buy a wooden kitchen for DDs birthday. Trying to decide between that and a pintoy one but it is so hard when you can't actually see them in action?

Thanks

Mine have a ELC wooden retro kitchen that i got them fror last christmas...its blue though and in 3 seperate peices but looks very similar to that kitchen.

I would highly recommend it.....they play with it loads and so far no dents or damage to it. (they were 3)...

the other good thing is that there is plenty of room to store the plates, food etc so you don't need another box for all that stuff hanging around!

Ah, that is what I was wondering. If I can just have a kitchen in the kitchen I can get rid of the blooming toy box!

I've got one! It's the blue one too, was a great deal last Xmas from ELC, £100 for the kitchen + fridge - basically looks like this one from
GLTC but with an additional taller cupboard too.

DDs (4 and 2) love it, and like Idobelieve says, there's plenty of space to store all the play food and stuff. Although DD2 likes to store other things there too; I always know where to look first if her shoes or daddy's keys have gone missing...

Thanks teddimac. I have ordered it, it should be here in a few days. I just now need to fight the temptation to give it to her before christmas!

Hope she loves it !

Ooh, a quick tip though - don't leave it too late the night before to put it all together. I found the kit really good quality, with clear instructions, but there were LOTS of bits and it took me well into the small hours to get it done on Christmas eve (didn't help that DH is not the slightest bit handy, ahem, especially after a couple of glasses of mulled wine).

DD loves hers she got last year, echo the tip about putting it together.

Thank you! Good tip, perhaps I will take it to my Dad's to keep out of the way of prying eyes (and if I am lucky, he might actually put it together for me too
