....there aren't any padded strap thingies, but all the photos of it on various websites and in the brochures show them

Is this right? Do I have to buy them additionally? Or do they only exist in photographs? If so I'm a wee bitty miffed

they don't exist in the UK
don't comply to UK standards according to the distributor

that's the message I got from the company who supplied the pram, thanks

We've had our first outing and it looks OK though; doesn;t really need anything if the chest plate is positoned nicely.

tis a lovley pram though, inspite of skinny straps

I didn't think you were getting a p&t in the end? they are great, i love mine!! i got some chest pads made from snunkie for my ds. they are fine when they are wearing coats, but otherwise they do cut into the lo's necks a bit.

LackaDAISYcal · 21/10/2008 18:31

lol after umming and ahhing and wondering I decided to take an executive decision and just get the thing.

I'm glad we did as I'm sure it'll get lots of use, and I'm very impressed with how easy it is to push and manoevre.

DD will be 17 months when the baby is due, but she is a very dinky 17 months and is only just in 12-18 months clothes. I think we'll get loads of use out of it

yes if shes' only small you will be fine, i've only ever used for two toddlers, i love it tho! What colour did you get? how long til baby comes? how exciting.

LackaDAISYcal · 21/10/2008 19:56

I got the charcoal one; classy and understated we thought, as red are ten a penny round here and DH has pretty conservative tastes.

Baby due in two weeks, but things are stepping up a gear with me already so it could be any time

don't understand what was missing? Was mine missing something too?

LackaDAISYcal · 21/10/2008 20:04

don't worry ilmd

All the photos on websites and the brochures show wrap around shoulder pads on the straps, but apparently these are not for the European Market as they don't comply with the regulations or something.

they are abviously too cheap to get different promotional literature done!

how's the neck and the DCs after your bump last week?

Thanks Lacka - car is a write off, and DD is having nightmares (and night sweats?). DS is just as cheerful as ever.

Phil and Teds - is it those padded straps? I honestly cannot remember what parts of my P & T was brought over from the US by my mom....

Aren't you due soon?

LackaDAISYcal · 21/10/2008 20:32

two weeks on Thursday

Poor DD , have she seen the doctor? alkthough there probably isn't a lot they can do. I'm glad DS has bounced back quickly though.

And ouch about the car.
