Winter coat for dd suitable for school that isn't pink/fluffy etc?

Spent yesterday trailing around the shops - M&S, BHS, Woolies etc and couldn't find anything remotely suitable. Something that isn't dry clean only would be an extra bonus too!

Have you a Debenhams near you? or try them on line.

I got my dd a navy blue (which I thought I would never find) waterproof, long, quilted coat with a hood from Zara.

It's a lovely coat - very nice design. I think it was £30.
