she would like to be able to talk to grandma on it. Problem is if you google ornage phone then you just get mobiles.

Does anyone know what the phone style is or where i might get one?

I have a red vintage telephone, it's valued at around 500 gbp (I found it in a factory that was being demolished when I was a student at art school). THye are not cheap. Black is the cheapest, at around 50gbp, but colours are worth a lot more. You might get a 1970's one cheaper, they are more rounded, our is a very old model. There is a guy in Essex who converts them to work on the modern lines.

do they not make 'new' ones which are replicas? it doesn't have to be the real thing.

You could try googling repro vintage phones. If you go for a 1970's 500 or 700 series phone they wil be a bit cheaper.
