thanks to all who responded to my earlier question about what else I need to go with a wireless ready laptop. However it threw up another question which has been bothering me so I just want to answer before I buy.
Someone said that wi-fi, wireless free internet connection or whatever the term is, only works for broadband. I can't get broadband where I live. Does that mean I can forget wi-fi and am tied to the phoneline or can I still go wireless with a dial-up connection?
