just electric, think power showers are a waste of water. i just want one that i install, it cleans me and doesn't break down ever.

Ok. I am pretty sure the higher the kw the higher the pressure.

More KW = more water going through, not neccessarily with a pump - but there is a limit, according to DP.

Mixer showers use a pump.

Mira sport is one of the best sellers on one website, there is a sport max that is higher pressure (10.8kw I thnk)

WouldYouCouldYouWithAGoat · 11/10/2008 20:01

mira sport is more expensive (mira sprint 8kw is £99 whereas a mira sport 10kw is about £200)

i am happy to spend the extra but just need to know why.

thank you ladies!

Do you live in a very hard water area? Our electric shower broke down because of scale build-up - plumber said it was a real problem in our area. It wasn't repairable either. Sorry, don't mean to be negative just thought it might be another thing to consider.
