two way radio for use around theme parks

anyone got any good recommendations. going to Disney World in a few weeks and really want a good two way radio to take

I saw people doing this on holiday in a resort - why do you do it? can't you text?

We have done this - however, you can end up on the same frequency as other people and sometimes no signal at all. Not worth the money IMO.

Could you just buy cheap PAYG mobiles? I recently bought one from the orange website for £10.

i was under the impression that texting abroad was really expensive. I'm pregnant so can't go on all the rides but don't want to stop DH from going on the fast rides. so i thought a radio would be a good idea then i don't have to hang around waiting for him i can shop and eat yum.
