bought 31st July
have reciept
heel fallen off one shoe
sole coming away from the other
they are black leather brogues
bought from independent shoe shop

???

You should be fine, they are not fit for purpose, small independant may want to send it off to their supplier to reclaim from them before they refund you but I may be wrong.
