Disney soft dolls

I would really like to get dd one for xmas but need to know what they are like. Anyone brought one? Can you advise me me on if you think they are suitable for my dd with allergies please. I need to be able to wash it in the machine regulary if pos. I contacted Disney store and they say they are only surface wash However, if you can let me know if you have washed one and if it has survived! Or whether they contain wire inside them? Then they wouldnt be suitable.

We have gots a few of them, both my dd's love them, they are totally soft, no wire inside, but I havent washed one yet, I probably would wash them once the get dirty enough but dont think they would stand up to a high temperture.

Our Sleeping Beauty one started developing holes and fraying really badly after a matter of days. Washing it would have finished it off completely. I think we were maybe unlucky as friends have them and have had no problems, but make sure you check all the seams etc before you buy.
