National BOOK Day..... Did your child get a token today?

They should have been given a BOOK TOKEN today

At DH school the boys got one each {Private Senior}

At DS school they didn't {state Primary}

DS is very upset

Did yours get one?

I know he will prob get it tommorrow or next week but should have been today

DS got one at his nursery (Montessori).

No token for ds1 (state primary). He missed a couple of days at school last week so it's possible that they were given out then, I suppose. I took him to the Book Fair and let him choose a book though so he didn't miss out entirely.

dd1 got one today. no book fair tho.

Ds1 got his today (state primary). Ds2 was off sick, but will get it when he's next in I'm sure.

dd got one on Monday and the school where I work gave them out last week (tuesday). they are valid till the 27th March though. I'm surprised if they didn't get one just becuase of absence. we labelled all absent children and gave tham out when they returned!

if they have a book fair booked for next week they map be holding on to them so they can be used at that, maybe?

They had book fair last term so don't think there is another one.

DS saw about the new HORRID HENRY book out on CBBC so he wanted to get it with token
