I have 3 dds

dd1 (9) is getting a ds for her birthday to replace old one (broken)
dd2 (6 next week) is getting playmobil horse thing for birthday and an Ipod for xmas
dd3 (2) is getting that bike for xmas

Thankyou for ideas

Have been thinking this pm

We do have more dollies than we can shake a stick at, though (had to palm off Baby Annabel to the GPs house to make way for the 5th life-size doll to enter the flat )

BUt might get dd2 some accesories for them

Perhaps some more Lego/Duplo

Mr Potato Head

She's already inherited DD1's scooter

Other difficulty is that I have lovely and well-meaning relatives who think they're doing me a favour by giving me money so I can "get them something you know they'll like"...

I struggle to think of something from me and Dp, let alone the extended network!

board games like connect 4 and guess who
operation
snakes and ladders
snap
jigsaws
dominoes
kerplunk

nailpolish · 02/10/2008 19:07

even tho she has inhertied a scooter, maybe shed like a new one all to herself?

notnowbernard · 02/10/2008 20:51

Games are good. She's getting the hang of really simple board games (and will be 2.4 at Christmas) so might look for another one for her

I don't see the point of getting her a new scooter when she is more than happy with the one she's got. But might look into that bike Enid linked to for her birthday

And I found a few traditional/wooden toy websites today that I shall trawl for something that's not plastic tat-- different
