Can I put a forward facing 9 month + babyseat in the passenger seat in the front of my car?

Can't remember - but won't it depend on the type of car you have if it will fit or not as well as the weight of your dc? And you will have to disable any airbags on that side.

tbh, I wouldn't unless there is no airbag there at all. YOu won't get anyone to say that it is 100% safe to just switch it off and kids are better off in the back of the car anyway- it's safer.

I have one of the new fiat 500s so it's a 3 door. Baby weighs about 18lbs so just coming up to being ready for it.

has your baby actually outgrown his current car seat? the vast majority go up to 29lb weight and the safest way to transport a baby is rear facing.

Hi
Have a look at www.rearfacing.co.uk and see if you change your mind, lots of useful stuff on there.
