DS (3) has his heart set on a "high up bed" and we've looked around and think Thuka looks the most sturdy and reasonably priced. We were going to go for a single bed with high sleeper kit but because these beds are slightly bigger han a standard single we've found it's about 4cm too long to fit where we had planned in his bedroom. There is another place it can go but I'm not so happy about that practically and aesthetically.
They also do a "shorty" bed which would fit in the space. It's 171cm long as opposed to 210cm and I think it's a bit narrower too. I'm just wondering how long it would last him and if we'd be silly to get a smaller than normal bed. Can anyone please advise?
