Any suggestions? DD is 7 months and our house is cold! I'd prefer something that'll wash and wear well(not pink and sequined!)
TIA

well do not get wool, it is a bugger to wash, get cotton or, better, acrylic (so long as it won't be next to her skin)

cardies are better than jumpers as they go on and off easier and do not even think about over-the-head fleece hoodies.

she is just the right size for the two-pound cardies you will find in every charity shop / church coffee morning / hospital shop made by old ladies who knit faster than their grandchildren can wear them. And they don't matter if she gets food down them.

Good suggestionabout cardis, I'm quite happy to hand wash wool though - I meant 'wash well' as in nice and chunky not limp. IME cotton isn't that warm - our house will be freeeezing in winter.

Love this

this, I mean!

think layers: long-sleeved vest underneath, long-sleeved top, tights, dungarees (no cold midriff), then cardigan

Gap, Jojo & Blooming Marv are all nice if you have the budget, but I found I needed a lot as dd raced through them (they're always on the outside so bear the brunt of the dirt) so went for ebay bargains or handknits.

If you don;t mind handwashing and have a friend or relative who can knit, there are some lovely warm cashmere/wool mix yarns anf patterns out there. I love these (and will be knitting them shortly for DC2):
