well, as cheap as is possible to get it!

I know it is most likely to be new, but I have no issue with secondhand.

Help me ladies. My bright idea of stopping DC's whinging with a "family DS" was fine before I realised we would probably have sod all money by xmas

Toys R US have them for £129.99 with 3 games and an accessories pack.

They also have a HSM one and a 5 game deal.

carrielou2007 · 28/09/2008 17:54

Does it have to be red? I have a pink DS lite if any good, have used it every day for a month for my brain training but have given up now. My sis then bought me more brain training and is still sat sealed in the packet...any good??

muggglewump · 28/09/2008 17:56

If Doctorpuss doesn't want the pink one, I'd love it for DD.
I'll give Doctorpuss time to come back though as it's only fair
How much would you want for it?

Flamesparrow · 28/09/2008 18:05

Ooh how much would you want for the pink one? (DH is talking about spraying it... the original colour desire was purple )

I am Doctorpuss btw

carrielou2007 · 28/09/2008 19:21

Not sure, will check what prices they go for on competed listings on ebay, don't want to offend with wrong price!! I don't have the original box, but have the ds lite, stylus and spare and charging cable thing. I also have the brain training and more brain training (brand new) but no worries if you don't want the games will ebay them (shudder)

Last time I used it was on holiday in August!!!

slayerette · 28/09/2008 19:28

Am I the only one who saw the thread title and thought, 'Blimey, most people are happy if their son has one of the regular skin tones - how fussy are you??? The second-hand bit had me flummoxed though...'

EdwardCullenCanHaveMySoul · 28/09/2008 19:28

Nope Slayerette, I was there with you

Flamesparrow · 28/09/2008 19:34

pmsl!!!

We have a friend who is sorting us with games, but thank you

Doesn't everyone want differently hued children? How else does one tell them apart???

NorbertDentressangle · 28/09/2008 20:05

carrielou I might be interested in the games (the 2 Brain Training ones) -just been looking on ebay for them but of course its Sunday night so the world and his wife are bidding so I can't be bothered!

smellyeli · 28/09/2008 20:12

Slayerette, my thoughts exactly

I was thinking more hair colour - maybe you already have a brown and a blond one and fancied a change?

My DS is currently on offer after a major tantrum at bedtime - but I'm afraid he is strawberry blond rather than red. I will pay you to collect him........

carrielou2007 · 28/09/2008 20:15

ok, have had a good look, taking into account some with games, some without etc, would want 75 for the ds lite (that includes silver label postage label thing) and for both the brain training games 25 pounds inc red label postage (wondered what my sis was buying in Argos whilst on holiday in Barsntaple as I had to wait outside with my dd and her 3 dc getting wet). Keep meaning to ebay but can't bring myself to do it...I have never sold on here, only ffp or bought, look me up on pushchair threads...

Flamesparrow · 28/09/2008 20:23

Argh, bloody DH says his mate is now "onto it"

Sorry! Muggle - tis down to you if you would like it

muggglewump · 29/09/2008 09:10

Ooh, yes I would like it, thanks Flame.
Carrielou, I don't have CAT but could you e-mail me please? jeniamh at hotmail dot co dot UK.
Thanks, I'll be around this evening

NorbertDentressangle · 29/09/2008 09:19

carrielou -I'll give the games a miss actually as one of the "deals" I've just seen for a DS comes with the Brain Training game thrown in. Thanks anyway.

carrielou2007 · 29/09/2008 12:37
