Attractive wall lights - do they exist??

I've no ceiling fitting here, so it is horrid wall lights all the way - I could do with some help finding nice ones as what's there now is just grotesque!

They need to be cheapish but not nasty iyswim - I need two for living room, two or maybe three for bedroom.

Modernish maybe...not sure!

Something chrome-ish with dark wood would be ideal for living room, as we have two other lamps in those colours.

get the plain unfinished ceramic ones that are a quarter sphere and paint them the same colour as the wall so they disappear

That's a good idea and they are very cheap too.

It would be good to find some pretty ones though if such a thing exists!!
