I need a triple bunk bed

Me and DP are about to take the plunge and apply to be foster carers .

To do this we need to put ds (3ys), and our two DSS (0 and 11yrs) in the largets bedroom, in bunk beds.

All 3 boys are excited about this (to our relief and shock) - we wouldn't have thought of doing it if the older boys were apprehensive.

Sowe need to find a triple bunk.
I can't have the one wth a double bed on the bottom, the only thing I can find is a normal bunk with a pull out trundle, but would prefer them all to have a 'permanent' bed, even tho it is rare now they are getting older that they are both here on the same night.

So I need either three stacked up, or can you get a 'U shaped bunk'? Similar to the L shaped style?

I am out all day but will check back later so thanks in advance to any replies.

If you have enough height i.e at least 8ft high you can have 3 stacked on top of each but the lowest is only a few inches from the floor. My dh is in the processing of making some for me and hoping to venture into business in the uk with them.

pine design in Bournemouth £199.99!!!!!

However, I did see on Ebay that one of the guys has broken his leg, so I don't know if they are accepting orders.

Could you have one made for you? Might work out cheaper. Look around for a joiner near you and ask for a quote.

We have our bunk beds from this company flexa

They are totally felxible to how you can have htem and adjust them. I woudl think that if you have the space you could have traditional bunk beds from them with one sticking slightly out from the other (that is how ours are) and then have the third coming out from the space that is left in the L configuration. Not sure if you can follow that!

The best thing about this company is that you can change the configuration. So in the future if you are no longer requiring htem to all be sharing, you can have them back as single beds, or just as normal bunk beds etc.

They are pricey though.

wow thanks for your replies

Really can't afford £800! Shame as they do look lovely.

Was all excitd about the bournemouth company but I then noticed it said will only deliver by courier with 30 miles. May email them anyway though just to enquire abou this.

If anyone sees anymore please let me know.

If you could arrange courier seperately would they do that for you, ie if you contact parcel force or something?

Put your plight up on mn, maybe someone would meet you half way to help? (I'd never have suggested something like this before, but it never fails to amaze me how kind some people on here are)

Fingers crossed for you, £199.00 is really a fab price.
