Find me a wide safety gate!

Hi everyone!

Does anyone know where i can get a couple of wide safety gates? The largest gap i have is 111.5cm and most pressure gates go up to about 82cm or the screw in gates (which we dont want) go to about 102cm.

The pressure ones do offer free extensions but they're only 7cm each so we'd need loads of them to get it up from 82cm to 111.5cm which i think is probably unsuitable.

Any ideas anyone?

lindam do an extendable one - a friend has one for a really wide gap - can ask here if you like

£75???? bloody hell! That's well out of our price range for one gate!! Would rather have one with bars than a solid-type thing, personally.

I've just gone onto the Lindam website and you can get various sized extensions so it looks like my troubles are over! Phew!! It's a bit of pain that you cant buy the extensions in shops (not that i know of anyway!) but oh well. At least i can GET extensions!

Clippersafe also do extensions at Tesco Direct. Have a look here to check prices.

Thanx mumlove. They seem to be cheaper from Lindam direct. Think that's the way forward for me.

Thankyou, I will also check them out as I have a gap of about 130cms that I sometimes want a gate in to separate the older and younger children I look after.

Argos have an extending puppy gate at 18 quid at the mo, reduced...it goes about 150cms wide. I got one to use as a baby gate!

Ah bugger!! Just seen the link but we've bought ours today! Never mind. At least we have the gates now. I just need to order the extensions now.....

Maybe you could return the ones you ordered if you ring them, or cancel the order?
