Phil & Teds Vibe modifications- HELP!

I'm really miffed- I've just bought a P&T Vibe, from all the pics it looks like the insert seat cushion is a sturdy, relatively rigid foam, but mine can with a rather flimsy, soft insert.
Have I been ripped off? Has the spec changed? Is this just a UK specific thing to save on cost?
Spoke to friends in Oz who recomended the P&T in the first place and theirs has got a much more study insert.
So what's the story? Does anyone know?

I received a sturdy foam with mine. Bought in UK a while back May/June I think. Hope this helps.

You haven't had any problems with your front wheel have you?

Thanks Annwoo!
to be honest I haven't taken it out yet, as I want to be able to return it to the store. So don;'t know about the front wheel.

The seat insert on mine only has a thin layer of wadding in it. It's nothing to do with the "ergo seat" that P&T advertise. Really p*ed off, as I think it takes away from the ruggedness of the product.

Tried to contact Out n about- they have been really unhelpful and haven't answered any questions really. They gave vague answers and blamed it on stock they get from P&T. They have also stated that they don't deal with customers. (despite having aftersales line) Very bad, I think!

To top it- the ones in Mothercare do have the sturdy foam cushion- so I'm really at a loss.

Has anyone else bought one recently - what seat insert does yours have?
