Has anyone else got one older? We got it very cheap a year after we got married, just when the laws were changing to be smoke resistant furniture. Ours would have been illegal the next month so, as we neither smoked or had a fireplace, we got it.

Now it is soooo saggy we have to help older friends out of it . We kept putting off getting a new one as had kids, puppies, kittens etc etc, buy MIL has had enough and given us the money to replace it!

Will miss it though........

What's a three peice suite?

I have a sofa and an armchair that where both inherited from my grandad, which I remember from my childhood and my dad remembers from his, so we're talking ooooold here!

The sofa is so saggy small children get pulled into it as if they've just stepped into quicksand...

my parents had a chesterfield for 27 years, my sister then had it for 10.

But the kids love them don't they!

I am worried I won't want anyone actually sitting on my new furniture

Ah Califrau, at least that doesn't sag, and is ideal for recovering! Nice sofa.

Ours is not recoverable, we have patched up holes & tears for years.
