Anyone else given themselves a nasty burn with a steam iron?

I never iron in low cut jeans anymore for that very reason!

Yes, been there - lesson in life - never iron naked (I was ironing what I was about to put on IYSWIM)

lol, yes i've done that a few times, and when pg!! even worse then when you tum gets right in the way!!

Never burnt myself with the steam but reached over the iron to get something once - and ended up with a three inch burn on my arm...

I did the same thing as slayerette when I was at uni. Still got the scar!

Put some frozen peas on it

It was 4 days ago and still sore and very red, taken layers off and yucky. I knew it was the steam, so didn't pay much attention as I would if it had been the hot plate of the iron.

Too late for frozen peas I think.
