Have just got a second hand P&Ts. The double kit and cocoon smell musty - is it OK to wash them in soap flakes in the bath?

yep. In fact if any of the bits fit in your washing machine they can go in there. very good fabrics I've used stain remover and fabric softner . I even managed a tumble dry on the cool setting. Had four p&t's washed them all regularly.

Thanks, will try washing everything tomorrow (and then having fun putting it all back together again!!)
