Where can I find girls PJs that a) not a complete rip me off (a la Johnnie Boden) and b) aren't covered with Bratz cartoons or the like?

Help please. I just want normal girls pyjamas without Bratz or Winnie the Pooh or Fifi and the Flowertots on - do they exists? I am beginning to think not.

Dare I say Primark do some nice flannelette ones?

Or is Primark the work of the devil?

misdee · 14/09/2008 20:33

next do some

iamdingdong · 14/09/2008 20:33

debenhams have nice ones

undercovercat · 14/09/2008 20:34

Primark, fleece ones £3 a pair. Bargainous and wash ok.

ChippyMinton · 14/09/2008 20:34

DD has several pairs sans characters - primark, sainsburys, matalan

Jojay · 14/09/2008 20:34

Debenhams do some nice ones within their designer ranges. Not too expensive though.

used2bthin · 14/09/2008 20:35

Got DD some from Gap yesterday but had a money off voucher, they were £16 so quite a lot but lovely. M and S do some non branded ones too I think. I'm just about to start a thread about nightdresses actually as saw loads of pjs about but none of them.

MutantSpaceGoat · 14/09/2008 20:35

primark ARE the work of the devil but my mother got dd some lovely brushed cotton ones there.

failing that i do the white company at sale time (still a rip off)

TattyCatty · 14/09/2008 20:35

Have had some lovely ones from Matalan in the past, and wash like a dream!

binkythebullet · 14/09/2008 20:36

Wow - that was quick, thank you!

Primark is the work of the devil, but I could be forced to ignore that for the right PJs. I'll take a look there and at Debenhams tomorrow.

Unfortunately old Johnnie B has exactly what I want, but the prices!

Primark! I wish I'd gone there yesterday, bet they are the same as the Gap ones! Its the one place we didn't get time to go too.

Sainsbury's we got some good ones there with butterflies on but not branded.

Anna8888 · 14/09/2008 20:39

here. Fantastic quality. My daughter has this nightdress and it looks beautiful.

Heated · 14/09/2008 20:40

DD also has the Primark fleecy ones that cost £3, that Boden would happily charge x5 for, and some Mothercare stripey ones that look a bit JojoMaman except they have shrunk a bit.

castille · 14/09/2008 20:46

Vertbaudet and La Redoute have some nice pjs

binkythebullet · 14/09/2008 20:46

Oooh, I like the M&S ones. Funny, I was in M&S the other day and they only had branded cr*p.

Love the ones at Peacock and they're very inexpensive. Button down flannely ones.

binkythebullet · 14/09/2008 20:53

There's so much choice - I obviously have been looking in all the wrong places. Thanks everyone
