Making clothes for kids... any books or websites good for patterns?

I've had a look on Amazon but the majority of the books are very old and out of print (not that there's anything wrong with that, in fact I think I do probably dress DS in quite an old fashioned way).

Does anyone make clothes for their DC? Can you give me any tips please? Thanks

Have you tried buying paper patterns from John Lewis or a haberdashers? Also, lots online at www.habithat.com. Try to look past the dreadful pictures that most of them have, and look at the shape of the clothes.

Ebay is good for vintage patterns.

How good are you at sewing? Trying googling "japanese craft books" and looking for the kid stuff, it's supercute. But don't if you want to make clothes to save money, because they aren't cheap.
