Can anyone recommend something suitable for a 4 year old.
Preferably not with sing along microphones. Possibly tough enough to withstand assaults by 2 year old also.

We have a sony micro system in dd's bedroom.
It sits on top of her bookcase so its out of reach to my 2 year old but dd can get to it.

In ds1's room, he has a portable cd player.
Its done the trick for him but he has managed to pull the volume button off and snap the handle in half

I bought dd one in Tesco for a tenner. Not a child's one, just a cheapy one that I won't get too upset if she breaks!

Thanks I'm looking for sturdy after they broke the elc one but everything is either sing along or violently themed [I mean it's themed to the hilt and often in screaming pink]
