Help! Can a Bugaboo buggy board fit on a cameleon whilst in pram mode?

I have a bought a cameleon and a proper bugaboo board, but have been told by a friend that she was advised in John Lewis that it will only fit when in 'buggy' mode. I have tried, and it does seem unstable and wondered if anyone had been successful? I have seen people with it on and may have to start following them to ask how they did it!

I seem to remember using my buggy board in pram mode. This is why they are so long to fit the bugaboo pram. Why does it seem unstable the buggy board fits on the same place whatever mode it's in?

i used mine when it was in carrycot mode & it was fine.

Ok- think we have been stupid here. We bought from ebay and it has been unused- the wheels have been put on the wrong way round it seems, so we were trying to fit it on to the bar with big wheels facing the front not the back. Will now try and move them- I hope that's not too hard!
