Ive just seen that the dolls how is now down to £50 has any one brought one of these before also have any who has painted there one got any photos they could show me.

I dont know how to do a link but if you just go on the website and just put dolls house in the search box it will come up its the wooden dolls house with all the furniture included.

I wouldn't paint it though- looks nice as it is, and maybe DD would want to paint it herself in a couple of years?

Yes thats the one. The only reason i want to paint it is my niece has said she doesnt want that she likes the painted ones but this one is alot cheaper than the other ones and i have read that people have painted them before so think i will give that ago.

we have it, I painted it, its great but LOTs of bits with it, we removed come of the ornaments before giving it to DTs when they were 3!

I would suggest acrylics tbh- they go well on lots of different surfaces, and last well in terms of colour fade (ie they don't much) and durability.
Art shops have them, or whsmith, or places like 'The Works' have them too usually.
A nice lilac or something would look gorgeous, with a climbing vine or similar.

I have this. It is unpainted. I suggested decorating it to DD1 (4.5) recently and she was horrified. It is a lovely dolls house though.

We have it. Thought about painting it before dd got it (for Xmas last year). Didn't get round to it. She loves it, plays with it every day. She's 3.9.

We have it. My Brother painted it with pink gloss and the windows white. He left the inside to me though. I bought the acrylic spray paints and sprayed the furniture out the garden. I did each room furniture a different colour. Did mean to wallpaper the walls too but never got round to it. I dont have any pictures of it sorry but think of a pink gorgian house and thats what it looks like. DD loves it but has never payed with the furniture in it but instead chucks the furniture out and outs her ponies in it.

sorry, forgot I'd posted here I painted it cream with a red roof and used left over house paints!

we've got that one- have papered the inside, and add roof paper. DD loves it, and plays with it more now its decorated, kept meaning to paint the outside - but haven't got round to it. also added net curtains.

Hi, we have this one. We painted it with "washable" matt pink paint (think it was Dulux) & then used a grey gloss for the roof. It looks great. Don't paint the furniture, though - far too fiddly! If you let me have your email address I can send you a pic, if you like

AS THEY HAVE STOPPED SELLING THIS ONE, MY 3YR OLD HAS HER HEART SET ON IT FOR XMAS.
