Saw them the other day in my Tesco - £3.50 and they look pretty small to me! What a rip off!

Wasn't aware they were doing a Christmas one.

Could be tempted, depending on the design.

unknownrebelbang · 07/09/2008 20:07

And yes, I know I'm sad.

Do I give a ??

RustyBear · 07/09/2008 20:14

Stripey one

bythepowerofgreyskull · 07/09/2008 20:33

I have that one Rusty - lovely

RustyBear · 07/09/2008 20:36

I don't use it for shopping much though (I have one of the black fold up ones in my handbag for that). I use it for taking extra stuff to work, like my lunch & a cardigan & the paper & stuff that's too big to go in my handbag.

tassisssss · 07/09/2008 20:42

i have the old design of flowery one, there's a new flowery one and a stripy one in our tescos...might have to get another

they hold heaps!

ScottishMummy · 07/09/2008 20:44

oh very much fancy a CK bag,no tesco near me though are they online?

BexieID · 07/09/2008 23:56

I have the first 2, my mums got me the other flower one, will have to ensure shes got me the stripey one as well. We both work in a Tesco, but she works in a bigger store to me. We haven't had any at all!

expatinscotland · 07/09/2008 23:58

i've had good success scoring the bags in Greenock Tesco .

i would like the pinky stripey one, though. will get a few of them if i see them next time to pass on as gifts or flog on Gumtree if we need some extra dosh.

1dilemma · 08/09/2008 00:10

Anyone seen any in SW London?

Bet not everyone will snap them up here!

(unbelievable there are about 8 Tescos all wihtin 20 minutes walk of my house-most new)

EyeballsintheSky · 08/09/2008 00:52

I get mine in New Malden if that counts as SW London. They had the new green flowery one last week.

shhhh · 08/09/2008 08:38

SM, I can get you one/some if wanted..? Can post it onto you...

BexieID · 08/09/2008 10:13

expatinscotland - i'm in Dumbarton, so just across the Clyde. The Port Glasgow extra is lovely. Only been over there twice and spent over £100 both times! I've not been to the Milngavie one for ages. I work in a wee Metro one and everytime I go into a bigger one I spend, spend, spend! (like when I visited my parents and the store I worked in down in England).

Back to the bags, i've not used mine yet. Not sure I want to either. Bags just seem to get a bit manky or DP puts manky stuff in them.

NomDePlume · 08/09/2008 10:20

I prefer the more rustic jute bags. They are great. They hold LOADS (even heavy stuff) and they're lots cheaper than the uber twee Kidston ones

expatinscotland · 08/09/2008 13:33

oh, Bexie, does the Port Glasgow one have the Cath Kidston bags then?

i usually go to the Greenock one because it's a wee bit closer for us (am in Argyll so come in through Gourock ferry), but they haven't had any of the bags since the blue and white spotted one.

i prefer the Port Glasgow Tesco, tbh, as it's a bit bigger and has better selection, IME.

BexieID · 08/09/2008 13:44

I've not been since April, but you could always phone up and ask if they'd keep you one.

maltloafeater · 08/09/2008 14:00

I love mine. Used them all the time on holiday for towels swimming things drinks etc.
So pretty. Looking forward to the christmas design. Stripe version seems to be sold out round here.

theirmum · 08/09/2008 14:02

ohh think I will get the christmas one I have the three they have released! I cant believe how much people are paying on ebay for them! Here

BexieID · 08/09/2008 14:22

My mum texted to say shes got me the striped one.

expatinscotland · 08/09/2008 16:40

, Bexie.

i'd like to go through again, but am really pregnant and limited in how many runs we make across the water, so the last one really needs to be Braehead only with a side of IKEA thrown in (for tea).

milge · 08/09/2008 17:48

Expat, do you want me to get you some bags - local tesco here has blue spots, pink striped and the new vom green flowery one ? Would happily post some to you if you would like...

1dilemma · 08/09/2008 23:50

where's New Maldon eyeballs? {grin]

only joking

1dilemma · 08/09/2008 23:51
